Contrary to popular belief, the charcoal used in all KOL products is not the same as the everyday common charcoal from your barbecue grill out back. Our Activated Charcoal is specifically designed for medicinal use.

Our Charcoal is specially made via an intricate process known as Carbonization Pyrolysis. Hand-selected Organic Trinidadian coconut shells are placed in a small furnace and exposed to extreme temperatures topping 3600 degrees Fahrenheit. The porous carbon that remains then undergoes a process called oxidization treatment where it is placed in an inert environment chamber and reheated to extreme temperatures, this time in the presence of specific gases.

Once this process is complete, you are left with Activated Charcoal.

Activated Charcoal is a potent, natural form of carbon used for all kinds of applications. Apart from its Industrial, Environmental, Agricultural, Purification and Medicinal uses, our organic, all natural Activated Charcoal has been adapted to be used in our specially formulated KOL products. Because Activated Charcoal has such a high degree of microporosity (millions of tiny pores), it works by trapping nasty toxins, chemicals and impurities in these very tiny pores.

KOL KARE - Why Charcoal?

If you’re looking to detox/purify your skin or whiten your teeth, the last thing you would most likely think of using is charcoal.

The idea of brushing your teeth with a pitch black paste or applying a black mask to your skin is probably the opposite of your objective.

However, our specially formulated organic activated Charcoal has natural adhesive characteristics making it extremely effective in giving you a bright smile and clear skin as it acts like a magnet for teeth staining culprits like plaque, coffee, and wine as well as bodily toxins polluting your skin.

Best of all, you can be sure that ALL of our KOL Natural Activated Charcoal based products are indeed 100% safe to use. In fact, Activated Charcoal is currently used medicinally around the world as a potent remedy against internal toxins such as food and alcohol poisoning.
